DR. VENTRICIA HARRIS-VICTOR DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
Dr. Ventricia Harris-Victor considers the medical wellness field a calling. “If you don’t really love it, you can’t really provide the care and services that are really needed,” she says. “You have to go the extra mile.” Dr. Harris-Victor is a Doctoral-Prepared Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy Nurse Practitioners, and licensed by the state of Florida to provide family-centered healthcare to patients of all ages. Her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process.
In practice for the past 10 years, Dr. Harris-Victor has a combination of strong medical skills and strives to provide the best health care possible. She believes in building a long lasting and trusting relationship with patients and customers. Her proven ability to define medical problems, develop alternatives, and implement solutions has brought praise and respect from others. Throughout her background, she has established objectives in all areas of her involvement.
A hard-working and ambitious practitioner, she considers her ability to relate and communicate effectively with others, combined with a striving for excellence in everything she undertakes, as her
most significant asset. She is a strong believe in community involvement as an active member of Embrace Arms Foundation (EAF), a non-profit organization where she assumes the responsibility as vice president and medical advisor. She is also part of the health committee in a local church, where she helps organize community health programs for the underserved. Her leadership skills and the depth of her experiences in the health care field have equipped her well throughout her career. These achievements in systematizing, establishing and meeting realistic goals have substantially broadened both her knowledge in the healthcare field and related administrative skills.
Dr. Harris-Victor graduated cum laude From her Bachelor’s program from Mercy College (Dobbs Ferry, NY, 2006), received her master’s degree in nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner from Molloy College (NY,
2010), and graduated with honors from her doctoral education at Daemen College (Buffalo, NY, 2015).
